The EU has coordinated and financed the delivery of over 1,570 tonnes of material, consisting of humanitarian and/or medical aid. Since then, more than 80 flights have reached critical areas in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The EU Humanitarian Air Bridge operations were launched on, with the first flight to the Central African Republic.
